Treat in the Streets was great with free photo by Image by Jessi

Treat in the Streets in Hartsville yesterday was a lot of fun in downtown. My baby son and I arrived a little later around 5:00pm so that gave us an hour to enjoy the festivities. He just woke up from a nap so it was time for play time! All the kids dressed up in costume but and I only saw one parent dressed up. I took note and I am glad I decided last minute to not dress up. I would've been an odd ball.
(Meet my son, the bear and his first bucket of candy)

It was my son's very first trick or treating event. He is 8 months old and was dressed up as a bear. I pushed him in the stroller and he did surprisingly well holding his bucket. I think he was just fascinated with the design on it. My two highlights of the event include going through the trunk or treat area at the YMCA where there were 5 trucks handing out candy and getting a free photo taken by Image by Jessi. That was a nice touch! They gave you a 4x6 photo that they took of you at the studio for free. They just asked you to fill out some paper work so they can mail you or connect with you with some marketing materials. That was smart marketing and we are excited that there is now a photography studio in Hartsville.

Happy Halloween!

Hartsville Mom

HartsvilleMom.com As a veteran's wife whose husband works in the nuclear field, moving every several years seems to be part of our life path. We have lived in Hartsville, among many other cities. Getting acclimated to a new town means starting over each time for us and to help myself and my family, I compiled everything I needed to see in one place on this website. I hope this will help you too.
All the photos from the 'Restaurants' page, 'Kalmia Gardens', 'McLeod Farms and Museum', 'Coffee Shops & Bakeries' and 'Events & Activities' page on HartsvilleMom.com were all taken by me during our visits. They are my original content.
