Hair finally growing back 8 months after giving birth

Posted by HartsvilleMom.com on Saturday, October 25, 2014
I had really nice hair while I was pregnant. A lot of things change with your body when you are carrying a baby and that was one of them. Then after giving birth, I started losing a lot of hair when my baby was 4 months old. It just didn't seem to stop and I kept losing a lot of them for a few more months! I was so scared. I really thought I was going to go bald. After doing some research online, I discovered that there are other moms who went through the same thing. Finally at around 8 months, my hair started to fall off slower and now it is about back to normal at around 8 months and 3 weeks. However, all that hair that I lost is growing back and it's giving me a weird hairstyle. Those hairs are sticking up and it makes me look like I just had an electric shock! No matter how I play with my hair, it is out of control. Now I know why in movies, they make new moms with babies have frazzled hair. I always thought it was because the moms had no time to fix their hair (which is true too) but it's mainly because our hair gets all funky when all that hair that we lost is coming back.

Hartsville Mom

HartsvilleMom.com As a veteran's wife whose husband works in the nuclear field, moving every several years seems to be part of our life path. We have lived in Hartsville, among many other cities. Getting acclimated to a new town means starting over each time for us and to help myself and my family, I compiled everything I needed to see in one place on this website. I hope this will help you too.
All the photos from the 'Restaurants' page, 'Kalmia Gardens', 'McLeod Farms and Museum', 'Coffee Shops & Bakeries' and 'Events & Activities' page on HartsvilleMom.com were all taken by me during our visits. They are my original content.
