The Play Zone in Hartsville is a great indoor playground for kids

Posted by Hartsvillemom.com on Friday, July 6, 2018, In : For Kids
In downtown Hartsville, there's an amazing indoor playground called The Play Zone, located between 5th St & College Ave! With slides, a ball pit, a treehouse loft (as I call it) and many toys for the little ones, the kids get to have an adventure, rain or shine!

It's rare to find a ball pit these days and The Play Zone is clean! Open Play schedules change month to month but they are usually from 10AM - 5PM. Open Play rates are $5 per hour or $8 for 2 hours. Check out their facebook page to s...

Holiday Open House in Hartsville

Posted by Hartsvillemom.com on Saturday, November 29, 2014, In : For Kids
My baby son and I had such a great experience at the Holiday Open House in downtown Hartsville on Nov. 20, 2014. The weather was about 40 degrees when we got there around 7:30pm. We immediately drove there once my son woke up from his much needed nap. He was refreshed and ready to take in his first holiday celebration.

We parked in the parking lot near Centennial Hall, which was what I did when I went to the Trunk or Treat event last month as well. It makes it so much easier to get in and out...

Treat in the Streets was great with free photo by Image by Jessi

Treat in the Streets in Hartsville yesterday was a lot of fun in downtown. My baby son and I arrived a little later around 5:00pm so that gave us an hour to enjoy the festivities. He just woke up from a nap so it was time for play time! All the kids dressed up in costume but and I only saw one parent dressed up. I took note and I am glad I decided last minute to not dress up. I would've been an odd ball.

It was my son's very first trick or...

Posted by Hartsvillemom.com on Sunday, October 5, 2014, In : For Kids
(Scroll down to see more pictures below) Our family went to Frozen on the Farm at McLeod Farms earlier this afternoon. We've been to the McLeod Farms Store before but have never gone to any of their special activities. For the last few weeks, as we were driving around town, we've been noticing the billboards for "Frozen on the Farm" and it really got us interested. (Scroll down to read more see more pictures.)

When we drove there today, we immediately see Halloween and Fall themed decorations ...

Hartsville Mom

HartsvilleMom.com As a veteran's wife whose husband works in the nuclear field, moving every several years seems to be part of our life path. We have lived in Hartsville, among many other cities. Getting acclimated to a new town means starting over each time for us and to help myself and my family, I do a lot of research on things to do and have compiled everything I've experienced in Hartsville here on HartsvilleMom.com. I hope this will help you too.
